The alder body features a deep cutaway for increased access to high positions, a design inherited from the original Charvel San Dimas basses from the late 1970s.
The ultra-thin bolt-on maple Charvel speed neck follows the original styling, features a gorgeous caramelized finish, and features superior rigidity and adjustability, including a built-in graphite reinforcement rod and a heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel. I am. 12 The 16-inch compound-radius caramelized maple fingerboard is designed to gradually flatten from the nut to the neck heel, allowing for smooth playing along the entire length of the neck.
Also, like the original, the high-power Pro-ModSanDimasBassPJIV is equipped with a DiMarzio pickup. The bridge uses a punchy Model J pickup, and the middle uses a Model P pickup with a warm, fat tone and midrange stickiness. Equipped with controls that enable a wide range of sound design, including a 3-band active EQ, pickup blend control, and master volume with push-pull selector. The push-pull selector bypasses the EQ's active circuit and switches to the analog circuit by simply pulling the volume knob, so you don't have to worry about the remaining battery power.
A CharvelHiMass bridge, GraphTechTUSQXL nut, and open gear tuning machine improve tuning stability and sonic punch and sustain.
Available in SonicBlue and SatinBlack models with chrome hardware, cream-colored pickup covers, and a Fender-licensed Precision Bass headstock.
