I am inclined to describe this as a 38.5mm dresswatch to which aviation watch themes have been added by Longines.  I bought this because it is a 38mm watch, butit wears a little bigger, more like a 39mm or 40mm watch.  And that is why I am letting it go.  I have become a small size enthusiast and Ifind myself wearing the 36mm watch in my collection at the expense of this one.  Even so I love this watch.  If I could shrink it a little or use theproceeds from this sale to buy a smaller version of it, I would.

Please note that I am including two straps inthis sale.  One is a black leather strap witha Longines deployant clasp and the other is a steel bracelet, also produced byLongines and modified by me.

The bracelet was originally manufactured for a38.5mm Longines Master Collection watch that I also own.  In its original configuration the braceletwas a mix of polished and brushed links. It was a little too flashy for me so I took it to a jeweler who brushedout all the polished links.  This was aprofessional job completed to the tune of slightly more than $100, and it looksgreat.  I never liked the look of thebracelet with the Master Collection watch, but I think it works beautifullywith this aviation style watch.  Thepictures will give you an idea of what I mean.

The bracelet fits my 7 ¾” wrist pretty well, although it gets a little snug when my wrist swells up.  I do not have any extra links.

The black leather strap included in the sale wasbought from Bulang and Sons.  It is their“Taurillon Black Speedy Leather Watch Strap.” A description of it can be found on theirwebsite.  It is a high quality strap thatcost me around 100 euros.   It featuresquick-release spring bars.  I put it on aLongines deployant clasp which is also included in the sale and featured in thepictures.

The bracelet has conventional spring bars and Ifound it a little tricky to get the bracelet on and off, but I developed alittle trick and have gotten good at it. I have enjoyed going back and forth between the strap and the bracelet.  I would be happy to help you with that if youneed it.

No box, no papers.  Sorry about that.

Thank you for your interest.
