This is a beautiful and rare pair of antique french renaissance revival brass shield electric wall sconces! They were salvaged from an old home and are circa early 1900's. When I got these, one of the original candle covers was missing and the other three were deteriorated, so I went ahead and replaced all of them with reproduction covers. The brass has expected patina, tarnishing, marks and scratches in various places from age. There is also some rust on the metal socket brackets underneath the candle covers. The original wiring remains and I always recommend having antique lighting looked over by your own electrician before installation and use. On/off knobs are located on the front above the flower center. These sconces measure 10" wide x 9" tall.
