the car was located nearby in Drayton basset not being used by the previous owner. 

the car belonged to a lady owner in shard end  (an area of Birmingham) where it had been laid up on two occasions.

the car failed its MOT in 2007 due to some front sub frame and suspension faults and  front floor corrosion issues. these faults were rectified in 2007 and the car was on the road for 1 year. mileage went from 40000 to 43000 up to its pass in 2008. mileage up to this point is true and verified by previous MOT records.

the car was then stored from 2008 until 2016 when recommission at 43322 miles and MOT,d. it was then used for the next two years but very little mileage recorded. at the end of 2019 the car was again put into storage before it transferred ownership to a gentleman in Drayton basset.

although the car was in dry storage it was stored along with other items and the roof and nearside of the car were damaged slightly by a bike whilst in storage.

at present i have repaired the damage to the roof (dent)and painted it old English white. i have also repaired the dents in the passenger side and as you can see it is now ready for paint.

i have replaced the original interior for a virtually brand new mini cooper interior that you can see in the pictures.

to summarise the car needs a new carpet only as everything else is here to finish the car.

i have new bumpers/interior is virtually new/i have the original 10 inch wheels and tyres and new larger wheels with new tyres as you can see on the car.

also have new spats to be fitted if you choose to change to the larger wheels.

the current mileage on the car is just around 44000 and it is in super condition overall.

the car is automatic which makes it very attractive to younger or new drivers and it has run and been driven  in recent weeks with no issues. unfortunately at this present time it will not start as there is no spark from the ECU. it has been checked by local mechanic and he now assures me that the car has an immobiliser issue as it has been standing without the battery connected and needs to be reset (i am assured quite an easy fix) but i have reduced my reserve to account for this. Underneath is in great condition and subframes look in excellent condition.

i have fitted a new exhaust/shock absorbers/Battery is also new. there is i have noticed a small rust hole below nearside rear light no bigger than a 10p piece that will need a small repair (but easy)

any items you cannot see on the car are here ready to fit including the remaining glass to complete and the car can be re MOT,d

the car is located near Sutton Coldfield west midlands and is available to view if you require.

the car is for sale elsewhere and may be removed.
