I selected and purchased these cymbals several years ago and used them only on a few performances. For the video, they were on my teacher’s set in my studio but they are not current being played. They sound wonderful and are beautiful in appearance, but don’t work for the music I most frequently play – rock, blues and big band jazz.

A while back I came to the understanding that I need to be able to predict exactly how a cymbal will sound before I strike it. My feeling is that these cymbals are so rich in frequencies and colors that I am intimidated by them and haven’t developed the relationship that I have with the five or ten cymbals I play in 95% of my shows. So I feel I haven’t used these cymbals in the way they were intended (as I view it), leading me to decide to sell them. I’ve also done this with some of my drums and other cymbals as I began to realize I don’t need to keep instruments that I don’t use enough to justify owning them. At one point I had eight sets and over 75 cymbals -- too much for one person who doesn't consider himself a collector.

I'm a long-time ebayer, 100% positive feedback. Feel free to give me a call at 802 247-2700 (I'm Rob) if you'd like to chat about these cymbals or cymbals in general.

Thanks.
