Tom Anderson is a brand of high-end guitars made for studio musicians.
Founder Tom Anderson was a guitar player based in L.A., California.
In 1977, he began working at Schecter Guitar Research, a repair shop founded in California in 1976, where he was involved in the production of replacement guitar parts, and eventually supported Schecter as a guitar builder.
In 1984, Schecter was acquired by a Texas investor group and its founder and president, Dave Schecter, was fired, and together with other employees he decided to go independent and established the Tom Anderson brand.
When it was first established, it subcontracted to companies such as Sadowsky, JamesTaylor, Schecter, and MOON.
Since 1987, we have been selling finished products under our own brand in response to custom orders from customers.
This TheClassic is one of Tom Anderson's representative models.
This is a valuable piece that was produced in 1992, just five years after the debut of our own brand model.
