Hello! This listing is for a German Blue Ram proven breeder pair - 1 male and 1 female. Both are German Blue Rams.

I am a hobby breeder and do not import fish. All my fish are tank bred and raised in my home. I do not practice inbreeding.
The pair you see in the photos is what you'll receive. The first 3 photos are of them together, while the last 2 photos are of them separately. They are raised on a healthy variety of diet with the following water parameters:
- Nitrate: 20ppm or less
- Nitrite: 0ppm
- Ammonia: 0ppm
- pH: 6.5 to 6.8
- Temperature: 84 to 86F
- TDS: Less than 120ppm
Rams need clean, aged water with water parameters within the general vicinity of their water recommendations to thrive. They are hot water tropical fish who are happiest in higher water temperatures between 82 to 86F. A great community fish, Rams can be housed with other non-aggressive tropical fish who prefer hot water tropical temperatures such as angel fish, some corydoras, discus, and some tetras. Other community fish that I've successfully kept with Rams are guppies, barbs and loaches. Note that Rams are a spunky little fish who can be territorial and will spar with their own species unless provided with plenty of space to roam and hide from each other, in which case, the sparring is nothing more than empty threats. An aquarium of 10 gallon per Ram is usually recommended. The bigger, the better for these BIG personalities!
The male ram is approximately 2" long and the female is approximately 1.5" long. They will continue to grow to 2 - 3" long when fully grown. I have no doubt you will enjoy having them in your aquarium.
Shipping Policy:
- Please NOTE: I do not ship overseas at this time. Alaska and Hawaii shipping are also not available.
- Fish are shipped via UPS or FedEx 2-Day shipping. I only ship out on Mondays and Tuesdays to reduce the risk of any delays into the weekends.
- Fish are shipped in breather bags, packaged inside a shipping box with insulation and heat packs, as needed.
- In case of extreme weather conditions with the potential risk to fish health or inclement weather causing potential delivery delays, I will delay shipping until weather improves. You will receive a message from me if that is the case.
DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy:
In the unlikely event your fish arrived DOA, follow the steps below.
- Within 1 hour of the FIRST delivery attempt, send me 2 photos of the dead fish insides its UNOPENED breather bag. Photos should clearly show the fish inside and the seal that indicates the bag has not been opened or tampered with.
Options once DOA is approved:- Refund Option: If you choose a refund, you will be refunded the full cost of the dead fish MINUS shipping costs. Shipping costs are not refundable.
- Replacement Option: If you'd like a replacement for the DOA fish instead, I am happy to send you a replacement fish for each dead fish. Buyer is responsible for all replacement shipping costs.

Acclimation Information:
- Fish are shipped in breather bags made of a special type of plastic that allows for oxygen and CO2 to pass through the bag. DO NOT float the breather bags in your tank as this will cut off their oxygen exchange.
- To acclimate the fish, empty the bag into a container or a regular plastic fish bag and float inside your tank.
- Follow your usual acclimation procedure, thereafter.
