These BHI Lo-Vo lamps which originally found their place in machinist’s benches and other workshop and machine environments are now highly sought after for decors with an industrial feel. Dating from the 1930s-60s they are unashamedly functional but this gives them a great visual appeal. This one is in good condition, albeit with the expected wear and tear from use, with a good shaped shade and good paintwork

Re wired to modern standards using period correct 3 core braided cable. A 3kg 22cm diameter mild steel weight with plywood top has been added to this lamp. For full capability of this angle-poise I recommend extra weight of fixing down to surface to avoid toppling over.
