DESCRIPTION

Wonderful hand carved and painted wooden stack of books end table or side table.  Sometimes called a scholar's table or faux book stack table.  Probably mid-20th century.  Solid wood.  The thick, heavy tassel probably isn't original to the table, but it sure looks beautiful with it, and will be included! 

CONDITION

Overall excellent.  Minor surface flakes and abrasions (all visible in the images).  A BEAUTIFUL AND HIGHLY UNUSUAL LAMP OR ACCENT TABLE.
