This postcard depicts a horse pulling a small trap with two people on board along a rough looking road. There is an artist name at bottom edge which I think is J. G. Gustenhauer.  The card is for a brand os "Vermeire's Pure Rice Starch".  The brand name of the starch has been obscured on the image (it is still on the card) as it is a word we do not use today.  The publisher is not credited.  Not postally used, date, I think to the 1910s.

The card is in a very good condition.  Rubs at corners, very small crease at bottom left hand corner, tiny surface paper loss at corners, edge rubs, the odd tiny bump and some tiny surface paper chips to edges, old pencil price, old pencil note, light browning and the odd very small and tiny mark to reverse.  Please check scans carefully as they help with condition too.

Please note surface mail or first class inland mail options are always available, please ask for a quote.

Overseas postage - please note I only charge what it costs me to send the item. I do pack my cards well to withstand a long journey and to try and ensure that they are well protected against damage and weather, this means that the package does not fit through the 5mm letter slot and is sent as a small parcel. I can however send many postcards for the same cost as one.

I try to be accurate with my descriptions but if you have any questions please contact me. Take a look at my other auctions and ebay shop items for more collectable items.
