Antique Hot Plate from Sarreguemines, France.
This mark indicates it was made around 1875.
Which if we study our history and geography, that would
make this piece German.
After the Prussian invasion of 1870,
the Ville of Sarreguemines was claimed by the German
Victors.
Measures 6.5" in diameter and in excellent antique used condition.
This piece is named "Danse de la Bouree" , translation
The Dance of the Drunks.
