A very scarce completely untouched set of early-war Kriegsmarine 'smooth ocular' U-boat binoculars; which come with their correct early variant KM case, sun filters, KM strap and inscribed Benutzer cover!

They are marked with the Carl Zeiss Jena maker's logo, as well as the KM Reichsadler property markings (which remain completely intact). On the opposite side, the 'N' Nordsee fleet property marking and inventory number are also present.

Indeed, such is the completeness of this set, this binocular is even still fitted with the original KM marked leather neck strap (!), detachable sun filters and the Benutzer cover.

Interestingly, the Benutzer cap is marked with a 'K.' painted inscription - for Kommandant, perhaps? Such markings can often be seen in period photos painted on the binoculars of higher ranking Officers etc.

The optics remain usable as they stand, but would certainly benefit from cleaning if full clarity is required.

As shown, the binoculars come stored inside their original and correct early variant of KM waterproof storage case - clearly marked as such, as shown.

A totally honest as-issued and found set that's not to be missed for any collectors of U-boat related items or WWII German naval optics!

Many thanks for looking and please feel free to check out our other WWII German optics, accessories etc.
