87-90 model 928's have a set of flaps at the front of the radiator that open and close to allow the correct operation of the cooling system.
for whatever reason they may have stopped working and have been held in the open position, often by removing this link rod.
the rod is 92857552700 and is NLA from Porsche, so i have made an exact replica of it from a good genuine one i have
the picture of 2 rods show a genuine one on the top and my reproduction on the bottom

the plastic socket ends fitted to it are new correct genuine Porsche items, so no chance of them cracking etc as with a 30+ yr old original.
rod is same dia as an original one and its the exact same length as an original.
the sockets are very tight to fit onto the balls, a little WD40 etc will help when fitting
