Here is one of my most favourite games from the 1960s. In good working order with its original box and virtually all its parts and pieces (just missing 1 of the 6 astronauts) this is the extremely rare Spanish battery operated tin toy RESCATE ESPACIAL by CONGOST which means SPACE RESCUE of course.

In good working condition as can be seen in the video although my helicopter flying skills may need a little attention.

Amazingly it also comes with original instructions, which are in quite poor condition, and really amazingly the original product brochure from CONGOST which shows this game among many others.

An extremely cool and fun game and so rare to find one in good working condition.

The battery compartment requires 2 x C batteries but due to these being originally slightly lighter when this game was designed, new modern C batteries are too heavy for the delicate balance of the controls. So to balance this issue I have placed a small amount of blue tac between the undercarriage of the helicopter and this does the balancing trick.

As mentioned it comes with 5 of the 6 astronauts and all four of the 2 boats and 2 space capsules.

The three controllers work reasonably well although the speed control one is a little erratic but the other two still work well.

Everything such as the helicopter, boats, capsules, tin plate deck and seascape are all in remarkably good condition and still look amazing! The original box is showing its age and is a little battered but generally in one piece.

It is quite large at 60cm 2 feet in length!

The magnets on the tiny astronauts get picked up really well when the helicopters string and washer goes near them.

A great game of skill and patience and really hilarious fun to play with all the family.
