BUTLER & WILSON Vintage Beaded Necklace

Butler and Wilson makers of iconic British costume jewellery founded Nicky Butler and Simon Wilson in 1968 when they began selling vintage jewellery in Portobello Market, Chelsea Antiques Market and later from their permanent stand in the famous Antiquaris, Kings Road Chelsea where they quickly built up a cult following among the fashionistas of the day with their designs regularly included in Vogue and magazine fashion shots. In the 1970’s they began making their own jewellery and in 1972 they opened their Fulham Street shop.

Famous for their extravagant and beautiful costume jewellery influenced by the past and loved and worn by many including Princess Diana, Jerry Hall, Inman, Catherine Deneuve, Faye Dunaway, Elle Mcpherson, Rhianna, Madonna, Rita Orla and Katherine Princess of Wales.

Offered for sale, exquisite multistrand statement necklace. The necklace is constructed of twelve twisted strands of violet coloured polished glass disc beads interspersed with purple seed beads and finished with faceted crystals.
