 It was influenced by a corbel for lamp that resides at the Chateau De Pierrefonds; an imposing castle in the Oise region of France.

I am a sculptor/craftsman working alone in South-West Cornwall. Every piece is handmade by my myself in the moorlands above St. Ives. I come from a family (Stevens & Sons of Wherrytown, Penzance.) who  sculpted and turned the very best in Cornish Serpentine stone since 1854.

The Huddled Doves is a serene wall hanging sculpture, it is fully weather proof  as is all of my work.   It is equipped with two strong  copper hangers that are integral in the top, out of sight when sited just above head level , I also supply with the Doves instructions for safe  hanging, plus wall fittings, all made to last 100 years plus.       

If  placed indoors and  topped with tea lights, it imparts a peaceful atmosphere to any room, particularily suited in a night lit conservatory, alternatively under the gable end of the house, barn or stable has become a popular discerning choice outside.
