This auction is for a vintage 1960’s ceramic tiki mug. It is in brand new condition. It has its original “JP Co.” stamp on the base.

“This mug takes its design from a tiki commonly designed and carved by Andres Bumatay; some tikis in this style were also carved by his protege, Richard Ellis. This mug's tiki has striking, large eyes, and a small fish-like mouth. Glaze is yellow-brown, and the background of the mug appears to have a pineapple or palm-like texture. Base is concave and marked "JPCo", was included in a set of Tiki bar accessories from Johnson Products Company.”
