This vintage (dated 1980) 54-page booklet in the Dover Needlework Series contains 12 samplers designed by Jana Hauschild - each chart taking 4 pages of the book. By basing each sampler on one of the twelve signs of the zodiac, she has taken the appropriate sign and symbol as her starting point for a wide variety of motifs that are virtually all interchangeable: floral borders, alphabets, butterflies, anchors, birds, sailboats, a horse, a car, sports equipment, an airplane, a ship, musical instruments and lots more. All of the large black and white charts are keyed to DMC 6-strand embroidery thread.

The booklet is in very good, clean condition throughout.
