The Beveridge Report was undoubtedly one of the greatest papers on welfare development in the 20th century. Social Insurance from cradle to grave, and the importance of never again seeing the social deprivation during the depression in the inter war years. The report stated that all working men and women paid an amount from their wages into a pot that would then pay out to people who were retired, unemployed or sick.
This 64 page document is a shortened version of the whole document. Slight bending of page edges, and slight browning of the paper can be seen, but overall, a good clean copy.
