A set of 3 Ordnance Survey of England One Inch Popular Maps of East Anglia, all first versions of the Popular Edition.

The Sheets are
66. Swaffham and East Dereham. 1921. A good sound sheet but significant fading of the white areas from light exposure.
76. Thetford. 1920. Only major fault is a split along the fold at the bottom of the front cover. There is no loss of detail on the map face. Otherwise both map and cloth backing appear to be very sound, with some fading.
85.  Cambridge.  1920.  The map and cloth backing are in excellent physical condition but the map face is overwritten in red and green watercolour to identify ancient and Roman sites and routes. A previous buyer of another map in similar condition very quickly sent this vendor a photograph of it with markings removed so it is possible with knowhow!

Cloth mounted maps

All are in the smaller folder format with covers affixed directly to the cloth backing.

Edition/Print code: none
