This version comes with a magneto to ring the bells. These phones could be used on lines that were powered by the central office. If the equipment was available to directly dial the number these phones could do it. If you needed to "ring up" the central office these phones could be used on the these older systems also. This phone has been completely rebuilt. The dial has been cleaned and calibrated to provide years of trouble free service. The magneto has been cleaned, lubricated and checked for output.
