1835 Map WAREHAM SHAFTESBURY LYME REGIS Dorset England

Original antique engraved map of three parliamentary boroughs in Dorset, printed more than 172 years ago.

This map was drawn by Robert Creighton and published by Samuel Lewis in his Topographical Dictionary of England, 1835. The image area measures 23.8 x 18.3 cm [9.4" x 7.2"], and the map is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with no rips or tears, in original hand color.

The map was engraved by J. & C. Walker and shows new and old borough boundaries, along with parish and township boundaries. The four parliamentary boroughs depicted on the map are Wareham, Shaftesbury, and Lyme Regis.
