Original V5C Registration Document
Mot Certificate is no longer required
to be sent for the transfer but it is applicable to have an MOT if the vehicle
is 3 years old or more. ( MOT and Tax details are automatically updated
online by DVLA Swansea)
Expiry date of current road tax
Cheque payable to DVLA Swansea for
Transfer Fee which is £80.00 (if you do not have a cheque book you may
send postal orders)
If you want the number plate supplying
on a Retention Certificate then the fee for this is also £80.00 which DVLA make
you pre-pay and this is made payable on a cheque to DVLA Swansea (if
you do not have a cheque book you may send postal orders)
We will arrange the transfer of the registration number to your vehicle
through the DVLA Swansea online service, however sometimes a postal application
may be required and this service can take up to 10 days.
If you are the bidder/buyer, we
will require you to make contact straightaway to arrange a part payment,
balance to be paid in full within 7 days. Alternatively subject to DVLA
requirements we may be able to assign the number straightaway to your vehicle,
however to do this you would need to pay via online Bank Transfer (details
would be supplied on purchase). If you do not require this method please be
aware that we only take a maximum payment of £300 on either PayPal or
Credit/Debit Card. Please refer to the Postage and Payments Section
