Presented here is a Class "A" 10 ml buret with a standard taper pregreased glass stopcock and dust cap.

This buret is made from uniform bore borosilicate tubing.  The graduations are red and are permanently fused onto the glass.

Burets are routinely used in titrations were a solution of unknown concentration is reacted with a solution of which the molarity and  volume is precisely known.  Indicators are used to determine the equivalence point.
