These gloves have 6 layers of cut-resistant Kevlar® lining on the back of both hands and back of fingers to help reduce the risk of serious injury in the event of chainsaw kickback or broken chain. They have a nice thick form gel padding in the palm. I don't have any scientific fact on this, but my guess is that the gloves will reduce the vibration by as much as 70%. That is significant. These are great gloves to help protect your hands. I really like them.
