This kit has everything you need to start stone carving.
The chisels are very sharp and will last you a lifetime. They are made in Italy and are of the highest quality, made from fire-sharp carbon steel.
The stone is a cream limestone from Malta, which is ideal for beginners due to it being quite soft compared to other limestone. It is also very popular with people more experienced in stone carving and sculpture.
Our basic instructions give you an idea of how to go about carving your first project.
Southern Stone also supply Maltese limestone in a variety of sizes as well (please see our other listings for the individual block sizes) however, we can normally supply you with a block size to suit your individual needs.
