Description: This distinctive red toilet soap was originally produced in 1894 and contained carbolic, which gave it its bright colour and medicinal smell. Lifebouy Soap is one of the most famous and largest selling soaps in the world.

Jupiter Lifebuoy Soap disappeared from the UK in the late 1980's . "Red Lifebuoy Soap" is now only manufactured in one Unilever factory in the world. It is now imported from Cyprus, although EU directives have banned the inclusion of carbolic. It now has a carbolic fragrance.

Red Lifebuoy Carbolic Soap is a very clean, healthy soap. It is an anti-bacterial soap with excellent skin cleaning and cleansing properties and is suitable for the whole body. These days, this is essential with MRSA and all the superbugs, e-coli, salmonella, and other viruses around. You cannot have too much protection.

How long do I have to wait for my order to arrive? Delivery of your products should be made within 2-5 working days of purchase.

You will receive e-mail confirmation when your order has been despatched. If the item is via Royal Mail please look out for the package as it may be too big to fit through a letterbox and may need to be collected from your local Post Office or Royal Mail Depot.

If the order has been despatched via a Courier you will receive a consignment number which can be used to track the order online   

 Please use the online tracking service or contact your local Post Office or Sorting Office prior to contacting Homecare Essentials about the non-delivery on your order.

Non-Delivery of items must be reported to us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. All online orders are e-mailed a despatch confirmation to the e-mail address given when the order was placed and all phone orders will be given an indication of expected delivery date when placing the order. Failure to notify us of a non-receipt of order within 7 days of the expected delivery date may result in any claim being invalid.

Can I specify a day or time for delivery? We will always do our best to get the order to you when you want it. If you have any particular requirements please call us. Timed deliveries and Guaranteed Next Day Services and Saturday Morning Deliveries are all available at an additional cost and can be organised by contacting us.

Do I have to sign for my parcel? Not necessarily. Unless otherwise stated, we can leave it in the shed, with your neighbour, behind a plant pot... just tell us where you'd like us to leave it and we'll do our best. You can do this by entering the delivery instructions when paying us by PayPal or call us on .

What if I am out when the courier tries to deliver? Unless otherwise stated, they will leave a note explaining that they tried to deliver your parcel and what will happen next. Can I send my parcel to a different address? Yes - just put the address details in as you checkout.
