Product Description:

This offering is for three (3) new presta to schrader valve adapters. The presta to schrader valve adapter is one of those items, for us at least, that is easy to lose and it seems no matter how many we have laying around...they tend to disappear over time. As a result, when we had the opportunity to purchase a large quantity of them as part of a buyout of various new-old-stock parts, we thought this might be a nice add-on item for some of our customers (even though it is really not a new-old-stock item).

For those that are not familiar with this little part, it allows you to use a schrader valve pump to inflate presta valve wheels. This part is threaded and simply screws down onto the presta valve and is then ready to use. We also like this particular model because it does include a rubber o-ring to help ensure a snug fit on any presta valve stem and they are made out of brass (so they should old up to weather elements a little better).

Please note...the heads on these are a little longer then some of the older ones we have around the shop, but we tried them on some wheels in the shop and they still worked fine with a couple of different floor pumps. We did have feedback from one customer indicating these heads were too long for the particular schrader valve pump he was using, so we refunded this particular customer immediately, as is our policy should something we sell not work properly. We have not heard of any other compatibility problems from other customers and we have sold hundreds of these adapters in different sized lots over the years.

Also please note that when we sell these adapters in quantities of three (3), we are able to package them for domestic shipment in a small bubble wrap envelope with little effort. So we can often ship these out on the same day when the order is placed during the first half of the day.

Note to international customers regarding shipping...
We apologize to those that feel some of our international shipping charges are too high. We only charge actual shipping rates, but once an order exceeds a certain amount, we hesitate to use the least expensive US Postal Services First Class International service. We feel this way, because this service is not trackable or insurable...so more risk of loss. We prefer the US Postal Services Priority Mail International service for more expensive orders, because this service is trackable at USPS.com and insurable...so less risk of loss. Unfortunately, this service is more expensive, especially for smaller/lighter packages, relative to the First Class International service. We are sorry about these higher shipping costs, but hopefully our notes help to explain why this is the case.

Note to international customers regarding customs...
We also apologize to those that feel their country import taxes, duties and brokerage fees are excessive. As a small US business, we are required by customs' laws to declare each order as a retail sale. Additionally, the declared order value must be equal to total store purchases and/or winning auction bids (less any shipping costs, as these are not considered in the declared value). As a result, each customer will be responsible for paying his/her own country taxes, duties and brokerage fees, which will be collected upon delivery.
