Here are high quality RIBBONS (check also my other sales) from a store,
an old Mercerie (Notion Store) in Paris (75011) which closed in 2000.
The owner didn't know what to do with all these vintage ribbons,
and so, she asked all her friends (including me) to come and pick up what they wanted.
All these years I kept the ones I chose, but now I realize I will never use all of them.
The Notion Store was specialized in vintage ribbons and sewing items.
I am selling a part of my stash here, on Ebay, and will add as much as I can, little by little.
These ones are in cotton.
Since they are new, they are in great condition, however, some of them may have some dust, especially on the edge, because they remained a very long time in this store, exposed to the dust.
In that case, you will have to wash them, preferably by hand, before using them, if you want them perfectly clean.
You have the choice here between 5 different colors and sizes (more are sold separately on my Ebay store):
1- Raw, Ecru Natural 14/16"
2- Printed on Ecru "Un Air de Campagne" 1" wide.
"Un Air de Campagne" has a double meaning in French: "a country feeling/look" or "an air from the country". This Ribbon has probably been made for a Company named liked that. Each print was maybe used as a tag.
3- Pink with soft thin chevrons, 13/16" wide.
This Pink is a very Barbie true Pink, not Salmon at all.
Each price is for 1 Meter = 1.09 Yard
