How to tell if your ipod is a 4th generation:

iPod touch (4th generation)

iPod touch (4th generation) is available in a 8 GB, 32 GB, or 64 GB configuration. It has two built-in cameras and is available in white and black.

iPod touch (4th generation)

model number for 4th gen is: A1367, ME178LL/A refers to the 16 GB configuration in black. The 32 GB configuration in black is MC544LL/A, the same as the 32 GB configuration of earlier iPod touch (4th Gen) models. The 16 GB and 32 GB configurations in white are ME179LL/A and MD058LL/A, respectively. Again, the white 32 GB configuration shares its order number with the 32 GB white configuration of the 2011 iPod touch (4th Gen).
