The cylinder bore should measure 81.00 mm (normal sized). The piston is therefore accordingly somewhat smaller (usually about 80.985 mm). The strength of the two compression rings is 1.50 and 1.75 mm and the thickness of the scraper ring is 2.00 mm.
The top compression ring is specially treated! The correct designation Tung loud idol of the material is "005 HP" (Ring Type: minute ring + coating: plasma spray coated) and the much more durable than normal rings of no-name suppliers, especially in these supercharged engines.
