LiteShower™ Recliner Model

Wheelchair-accessible Shower Stall

- Portable, foldable, uses water from faucet

- 3' wide x 7' long x 3' tall

- Bathing position: recline

This is a portable shower stall that you can setup anywhere in your home or apartment. It is wheelchair accessible - a person in a wheelchair can ride in and out of this shower stall. Anybody who has difficulty using a traditional shower can take bath with this portable shower in a convenient spot, such as in the kitchen. This is the LiteShower™ Recliner Model,  which is designed for a person to lie down in the shower using a shower-wheelchair or a bench. The overall dimension is 3' wide x 7' long x 3' tall. The LiteShower portable handicap showers are low-cost alternatives to permanent accessible showers or walk-in tubs. They are ideal for short-term and temporary use.

We are a Virginia based company and the manufacturer of this product. We've been in business since 2002. Our portable shower product is patented (U.S. Patent No. 8302219) and made in the US. The US Department of Homeland Security has chosen our showers for virtually all their emergency shelters.

Here's how it works: a flexible shower tray is put down on the floor. Tray has collapsible walls to allow a wheelchair to get in and out. The walls automatically bounce back. Outside the tray is a pair of foldable shower screens with sliding shower curtains on all sides to keep the water in. A handheld shower sprayer gets warm water from the kitchen faucet. An electrical water pump sucks waste water from the shower tray and discharges into a sink or toilet. After the shower, you unplug the water pump, disconnect the shower sprayer from the faucet (quick-connect), fold up the screens and the tray, and your entire shower stall would store away.

Everything is included in the package. Initial setup (assemble the shower screens, attach quick-connect adaptor to your kitchen faucet, etc.) usually takes about 20-30 minutes. A step-by-step instruction is included to guide you through the initial installation process. After that, it's a simple matter to unfold the shower, plug in the pump, snap the shower sprayer onto the faucet, and use it.

We offer other shower models for different bathing positions.
