Administration:  James Madison

Blessed with a desire to please and willingness to be pleased, she has gone down in history as one of the most popular of First Ladies.

Dolley is well known for her flight from Washington in August, 1814, when the British invaded the city during the War of 1812.  She saved many state papers and a potrait of George Washington.

At times President Jefferson requested Dolley Madison to serve as First Lady. 

Certificate of Authenticity is included, she is hand numbered 3405/19,500.  Each doll is exclusively designed and handcrafted by skilled artisians in limited editions.
