'Pra Kon Samor' Collectable Buddhist Amulet - Rear Stamped

Thai amulets typically depict the Buddha or famous monks, or in a few cases, Hindu gods like Ganesha. Many have designs on both front and back.

Monks make these amulets, adding secret ingredients to the clay mix. These can include anything from flowers and herbs/oils to the ashes of burnt scriptures. Sometimes, gemstone fragments or crystals are also embedded into the clay before it is fired. The amulets are then consecrated with ritual chants and Buddhist holy water and offered to followers.

This Amulet:  : 'Pra Kon Samor' for protection against misfortune. The name literally means from under the tree which is where these amulets were first found.

Colour: White/ cream.

Amulet Size: 38mm top to bottom. 27mm along bottom edge. 24mm along the top edge.
