Tufo valve extenders provide a fool proof way to increase the length of the tire's standard stem length to accomodate deep dish rims. By pklacing the valve at the far end of the extender it is possible to manually close the valve core to prevent any air leakage. Simply unscrew the valve core that comes with the tire, insert the Tufo extender into the stem with the rubber "O" ring first and reinstall the previously removed valve core back into the extender. No need for teflon tape, the "O" ring provides for an air tight seal. Available in 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 100mm lengths.
