Reconditioned Cylinder Heads
(ALL HEADS SOLD ON EXCHANGE BASIS)
Fully reconditioned Cylinder heads for Land Rover 15P TD5's, 10 valve engine. The best way to ensure that you receive the right one, is to get the casting number of your original head. This can be found above number three and four inlet ports where the cam carrier and head meet.
HRC 2880 has two holes going into the head for the diesel system 10P
LDF 109930 has only one hole going in the head for the diesel system 15P
You are only bidding for a 15P with the casting number LDF 109930.
The cylinder heads have been fully reconditioned
and had the following work carried out
Stripped and cleaned
Both the cooling and fuel common rail systems have been pressure tested
Valves polished and refaced
Guides changed as necessary
Valve seats cut
All threads checked
Built back up to valves and springs
Skimmed
The heads are all machined back to manufacturers specifications, meaning that you can refit the same notch head gasket that came off it. They come with a 12 months parts only warranty. All heads are sold on exchange basis. I do require your old head back, whatever its condition.
When the vehicle is back on the road, please put the old cylinder head back into the box that you received the new head in, making sure that you include all components received.
When the old unit is ready, just send me an e-mail through Ebay or call me on 07813 668084 or 01726 817475, and I will arrange collection from work/ home/ garage, whichever is the easiest.
