I know you are thinking that is a little over kill, or MDF with a melamine finish 

would be cheaper. True it is cheaper in all aspects of the word. But whether you

are on a budget build, or going to be putting a killer system together. You want 

the foundation to be strong! And with this kit your system will hold up to years

of use. 

 And the best part is it comes fully assembled. I know flat packs are cheaper 

to ship. They also mostly use lock cam systems so they can do that. Which means

when you put it together it might not feel as solid as you hoped, and even less

so after a years worth of playing. Not with this KIT. We assemble them  using

nails, screws, glue, and fasteners. So when you pull it out of the box you are ready

to move onto the next phase of your kit building. Not reading a how to manual and 

spend more time putting it together.
