Inside the box you will find everything you need to replace or install a new vertical blind head rail. We use a white aluminium head rail system which comes pre corded to your bunching choice!
1x White Aluminium Head rail
with white control chain set to 1m drop
1x Child Safety Device
1x White Chain at 1000mm (or wand control if selected)
“X” number of brackets (this number will depend upon the size of the blind)
Please note, we use UK standard parts for our headrails.
If you are replacing a current track or would like to know the number of slats on the headrail we produce, please contact us before ordering. To ensure we can provide the correct number, you would need to provide with the track width and slat size (3.5" or 5").
If this is not requested before ordering, or on the 'notes to seller', this will be produced to the UK standard.
Please note; as this is a made to measure item, due to the number of Hooks required for your exact width, this may contain slight uneven spacing.

Please Note: Picture is for reference only, some parts may differ in appearance but what we list above is exactly what you will receive.
Please also note, if a wand is chosen on a center split, due to the nature of a wand control this would be in the middle of the window.
This is the measurement you need to take if you want your blind to fit inside the window recess.We always recommending measuring in 3 locations and using the smallest one.
1) Measure the width of your recess (wall to wall)
2) Measure the drop (height) of your recess
3) On message to seller use "measurement type RECESS"
We then make small deductions needed to ensure the blind fits perfectly into the recess (around 10mm on the width only). Please Note: if the recess is less than 60mm / 2.5" deep, the window opens inwards or there are other obstructions the blind may have to be fitted outside the recess
Please use this measurement method for fitting blinds outside the window recess or have made your own deductions.
1) Measure the width you would like the blind to cover
2) Measure the drop (height) you would like the blind to cover
3) On message to seller use "measurement type BLIND SIZE"
We recommend a window recess overlap of at least 70mm on each side. Please Note: we do not make any deductions to the measurements given when using the actual blind size option

We only recommend this on blind tracks over 1000mm due to spacing of slats within the headrail.

To comply with Child Safety Legislation EN13120 8.2.33, we and our suppliers have implemented new child safety mechanisms.
Child safety cords- Installation height unknown. This is essential so that control lengths can be adjusted, otherwise all of our control cords will be supplied with controls compliant with EN 13120.
Please note: If using a blind in a room accessible to a child or pet, you must ensure that the cord is tied up safely out of reach (1.5 meters above floor level). For safety we recommend moving beds, cots and furniture away from windows fitted with a blind that has a side control mechanism. Do not tie cords together to form a loop and ensure they do not twist to create a loop.

Refusal of delivery and/or multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts may result in re-delivery charges. Items will be attempted on 2 occasions, with calling cards left, and held by the couriers for up to 4 days to allow you to re-arrange delivery. After this timeframe, these will be returned to us. Returned items are only held up to 4 weeks and may be disposed of after this time.

Damages / Replacement Policy
All blindsbypost products are quality checked before dispatch but in the unlikely event that you experience any problems please contact our customer service team via eBay message.
You have 48 hours following receipt of your goods to report any damaged or defective goods due to manufacturing, or damage caused while being in the delivery process. We will deal with your queries promptly and if necessary arrange for a replacement to be sent. We reserve the right to ask for digital pictures with regards to the issues reported or to ask for the product to be returned to us for inspection. This does not affect your statutory rights.
