PLEASE NOTE - You MUST specify which globe either by selecting it using the options OR sending me a message with your purchase either on ebay when you purchase or on Paypal when you pay SPECIFYING your machine model and function eg "A77 VU". You be surprised how many people order 1 globe without any indication of what its for. I haven't quite perfected mind reading yet although I can bend spoons !!! Also please order your globes with other items and kits otherwise the postage is just silly - really silly!. I really carry these globes as a complimentary service for customers who buy other things. It is a real pain to just supply 1 or 2 globes and not really in the spirit of what I am about. I reserve the right to cancel any purchase for sole one or two globes if I am feeling cranky! Rather than list these separately or as part of kits to try and get you to buy more of what you might not need, we sell our globes individually and. Buy as many as you need of any particular type. The idea is to add them with belts and other individual parts to your kit order.
This is how we organise our globes stock by base. We give the bases our own obvious names because frankly there doesn't seem to be a standardised worldwide system. The particular machine model no. will then determine what particular voltage and wattage the globe is - ie within the base type classifications there are different voltages and wattages. This means that although the base may look the same different machines may have different voltages / wattages. We will make sure you get the right one if you follow our order instructions.

This ebay "variations" function will hopefully enable you and I to communicate exactly what globe you need. However, just in case the system is not infallible, please add a note to the ebay purchase or better still the Paypal payment telling me your MODEL MACHINE and FUNCTION of the globe. eg B77 VU or A77 EOT etc
We will supply the correct one for your machine so don’t worry about specifying voltage or wattage or current. That’s it – easy as! We will make sure you get the right voltage / wattage and each globe type will be put in separate little plastic bag appropriately marked.

In respect of this listing only. We don’t really want to sell parts only on ebay! Our parts are listed on ebay for the benefit of customers who, at the same time purchase a kit from us. So, unfortunately due to the onerous time consuming administration foisted onto us by ebay and the freight / postal system, we have had to instigate a ‘hidden’ in built handling charge of $30 on the low value part listed here. This is incorporated into the shipping charge (ebay system) and why it may seem exorbitantly expensive. This ‘handling charge’ can be REFUNDED in full ($30) as a discount by requesting a combined invoice for any multiple purchase of a kit plus parts. A ‘hidden’ handling charge does not apply to kits or tape media / accessories and some more expensive parts which are nett. To be clear – there is a refund of any ‘hidden’ handling charge of $30 which is passed as a discount when you request an invoice for multiple items as long as one of these is a kit. You MUST request a ‘combined shipping’ or ‘send an invoice for combined shipping’ to enable this. Please check on your requested final invoice that I have applied the $30 discount. This message nor ‘hidden’ fee does is absent and is not applicable on those items in our store where the above message does not appear. It is also not applicable to direct dealing past customers. Our raison d’etre is to help enthusiasts fully restore their classic audio equipment to as near original performance using our carefully considered and designed kits. We don’t really wish to cater for occasional spare part sales which, to be blunt is a hassle and time consuming and which, in most cases, is unlikely to solve likely hidden or soon to surface problems on your Revox, Studer or Nagra equipment.
