This is a copy of The Long-Ago Book, illustrated by Florian:

• In very good condition for its age. Shows some wear such as a bit of a crease/bend, reinforcement tape to inside cover seam, some splitting to inside back seam, and some marks/wear, and a price written small on a page but no other writing on pages (see photos). But book is sturdy and pages are in remarkably good condition and colors look great.
• Florian (Florian Kraner, 1908-1976) was a talented artist born in Vienna. He emigrated to the USA in 1935, where he remained till his death in New York City. He illustrated several children's books.  (from German Children's and Youth Literature In Exile 1933-1950, by Zlata Fuss Phillips, found on Google Books.)
• Copyright page reads "Manufactured in the United States of America in Compliance with All Regulations of the War Production Board" (see photo).
• Book measures 6 x 18 inches.
• Contains classic stories such as Rip Van Winkle, Rapunzel, and Pinocchio, with fantastic illustrations.
