A custom framed, hand sewn needlework. A lovely rural road to a farm, country scene with mailbox as a central horizon point.  Colors are unique, beautifully blended, bright and craftsmanship is super. Basic oak wood frame with (burlap like pattern) fabric which enhances the picture. Open design frame, no glass, light padding under the needlework.

Previously owned and displayed.

Age unknown, however the paper backing is old from age and tattered along the back edges as shown. If you peel back the paper a bit, it looks as if the work was mounted or stretched on a board (see photo) and this accounts for the overall weight of the piece. Frame has some mild distress such as a few scratches or rub marks.

Including frame it measures approximately 18" x 22 1/2". Wire hanger for ease of hanging.

A lot of work and time went into the making and a wonderful addition to any decor. Lots of photos in bright light.
