1. Regarding the glitter: 

The glitters may not be as sparkling as the photo shows before applied on your phone, 

due to layers of protective films on the outside. (see the last photo below as you don't visualize the speckles as much). 

The protectors are designed this way so that they don't affect visibility of the phone whilst using. 

However once applied (on sleep mode) and removed plastic films on both sides, they are just as glittery.

2. Regarding the size:

Due to the fact that iPhone 6/6 Plus has curved edges, 

the protectors are designed to be a few millimeters short to the sides (see pic below). 

This is common to most protector products on the market. Please be advised prior to buying.
