You are buying a SINGLE 7” Round Semi Sealed LED Halo headlight with Clear Glass Lens.
With parker socket fitted, as per the picture below. 1 only, great for a motorbike, or to replace a damaged one to make a set complete.
We also have 1 only of the other style with composite housing. these have a plain lens, and the LEDs are configured differently. Please let me know if it's the composite one you need, otherwise, we will send this one with the metal housing.
The 7” (178mm) light is a universal fit
There are 3 locating tabs on the rear to make sure they are fitted the right way around as it does affect the light from left to right and up and down for the Hi/Lo beam.
These lights have curvatures in the reflector and an internal reflector designed to send light out in a 3d kidney bean shape so that it covers the road surface to the right in front of oncoming traffic, but also lifts to the left and lights up the kerb side of the road and well forwards directly in front of you. When you hit the high beam the light is then beamed all over the road and beyond.
Some other lights have flat reflectors which can look fine, however, do little for full light projection.
The 2 wires above can be connected to any power source, ie: your parkers, ignition (constantly on when the car is on), or to a separate switch, it's your choice. If you plan on using these in dusty or wet conditions (4x4 or dirt roads), it would be wise to seal the hole with a dab of silicone during installation.
These lights take a H4 globe which is not supplied, however they are a very popular globe and are readily available from any automotive parts supplier, or can be supplied for a small extra cost.
The H4 globes have 3 pins on the rear the same as sealed beam lights. Which means these lights are a direct replacement for sealed beam lights along with a H4 globe to plug straight into your vehicle.
NO GLOBES ARE PROVIDED WITH THESE LIGHTS - However we can supply them at an additional charge.
These lights are simple and easy to install.
- Firstly remove the ring around the lights already in the vehicle by undoing the 3 screws.
- Gently tap out the old light and unplug the wires from the back from the globe.
- Carefully insert the newly acquired H4 globe into the New light lenses. Without touching the H4 globe (Never touch the Globe with your fingers)
- Put the rubber boot over the globe then attached the wires to the plug.
- Insert new lenses into vehicle and re-secure with the ring you removed earlier with the 3 screws.
- Enjoy your nice new brighter and clearer lights!!
