Warm windy days send cicadas haphazardly flying and dropping into rivers and streams where hungry trout can't resist the splashdown. This collection accurately captures the bulky body profile and oversized wings of the real bugs. When presented with a well-managed drift, these flies trigger explosive strikes from trout keyed in on the natural cicada fall.

Unlike most aquatic insects, cicadas have a unique terrestrial life cycle emerging from the ground after years underground feeding on plant roots. When it's cicada time, don't miss out - stock up on flies that match the real deal.
