The Sangamo Choice 22mm Motorised Zone Valve (2 Port) allows you to control separate heating and hot water zones. These mid position valves are linked to the boiler via a room or programmable room thermostat for heating and a cylinder thermostat for hot water. The use of controls will make substantial savings on fuel bills when wired to the boiler, and give you full control.
The auxiliary switches on the motorised valve should be wired to switch the boiler/pump on and then off when there is no demand for heating or hot water, providing boiler interlock and complying to building regulations.
Designed for use on fully pumped systems which when wired correctly with an appropriate room thermostat, cylinder thermostat and programmer will control the hot water from the boiler to; either hot water only, heating only, or both simultaneously.
