SELECTION GUIDE:

GASLESS FLUX-CORED E71T-GS

  • E71T-GS is an all-position, single-pass, flux cored welding wire designed to weld carbon steel. The unique quality of this product is that you do not have to use a shielding gas. E71T-GS is most popular for the home workshop welder and can be used on such thin gauge steel. Gasless Wire E71T-GS is used quite extensively in automobile body shops for door or body repairs and it is also used for sheet metal duct work on lap and butt joints.
  • Classification:
    1. AWS A5.20 E71T-GS
    2. EN ISO 17632-A ER-71T-GS

MILD STEEL ER70S-6

  • General purpose copper-coated solid wire for gas metal arc welding of mild or medium tensile steel using CO2 or argon-based shielding gases. Precision layer wound MIG wire suitable for welding mild and low alloy steels with lower spatter levels and excellent operator appeal.
  • Classification:
    1. AWS A5.18 ER70S-6
    2. EN ISO 14341 3Si1 DIN 8559 SG2

ALUMINIUM ER5356

  • 5356 filler metal is the most common aluminium alloy for general purpose welding and is typically used in the construction industry in fabricating truck trailers, small fishing boats, and any 5XXX series alloys.
  • Classification:
    1. AWS A5.10 ER5356
    2. EN ISO 18273 - S Al 5356

STAINLESS STEEL ER308LSi

  • A 308L chemistry which has been modified with a higher silicon level to increase weld puddle fluidity, ensuring better tie-ins and potentially higher welding speeds 308LSi is suitable for joining stainless steels of similar composition such as 301, 302, 304, 304L, 305, 308, 308L and 347.
  • Classification:
    1. AWS A5.9 ER308LSi
    2. EN ISO 14343-A-G 19 9 LSi

STAINLESS STEEL ER316LSi

  • 316LSi is the most widely used stainless steel MIG wire. 316LSi has increased silicon content than 316L that significantly improves the wetting characteristics of the weld. This produces optimum ease in welding and smooth bead appearance. The alloy has a low carbon content which makes it particularly recommended where there is a risk of inter-granular corrosion.
  • Classification:
    1. AWS A5.9 ER316LSi
    2. EN ISO 14343-A-G 19 12 3 LSi

STAINLESS STEEL ER309LSi

  • Designed for joining dissimilar materials, such as stainless steel to mild or low alloy steel. ER309LSi is similar in composition to ER309L with a higher silicon content, which produces weld beads that are exceptionally smooth due to good wetting action. 309LSi is a great choice when cosmetic appearance is important.
  • Classification:
    1. AWS A5.9 ER309LSi
    2. EN ISO 14343-A-G 23 12 LSi

SILICON BRONZE ERCuSi-A

  • ERCuSi-A is a silicon bronze welding alloy suitable for welding silicon bronze copper or aluminum bronze of low aluminum content, copper zinc, copper to themselves, and also to mild steel. Due to its low melting temperature, Silicon Bronze is the number one choice for automotive panel work as it has low panel distortion.
  • Classification:
    1. AWS A5.7 ERCuSi-A
    2. EN ISO 24373S Cu 6560 (CuSi3Mn1)
