DAMP PROOFING MESH MEMBRANE KIT

2.5MM STUD, 1MTR WIDE X 20MTRS LONG WITH PLUGS, ROPE, TAPE & 8MM BIT

 
All the components you need to isolate a damp wall above ground.
For use after injecting a new damp proof course to render or dot and dab plasterboard to.

The membrane has a 2.5mm stud profile which a wall to breathe and dry down but protects from any residual dampness and salts present in the brick.

It can be rendered to or dot and dab plasterboard and skim over.

The membrane is very flexible and can easily be fixed around corners but on uneven walls you are advised to cut the membrane and butt joint using the butyl fleece tape in the kit to overseal the joint.

Fixing centres for plugs should be no greater than 250mm and ideally 200mm for rendering. Sufficient fixings are provided for both options in the kit.

Where damp walls are being treated we advise sealing plug fixings with butyl rope but cutting off 1" of rope and forming a collar around the head of the plug which will form a perfect seal when the plug is tapped into the wall.

Window reveals, service pipes and sockets can be sealed with the butly rope.

This kit will treat an area up to 20m2.

1 x box of 400 Plaster Plug fixings 8mm x 70mm
3 x rolls butyl rope 10mm x 5mtrs long
1 x roll single sided jointing fleece tape 5mtrs long
1 x 8mm x 160mm SDS Plus drill bit
