The new Bender Endpin is fitted permanently into the bore of the lower block by means of the finely threaded conus, and immovably absorbs the flexibility of the rod. The light metal of the socket, which guarantees an optimal sound passage, is so dimensioned to ensure that the drill hole, necessary for the insertion of the bulk; does not restrict the vibrations, but transfers them well to the instrument corpus. This is helped by the fact that the rod is not simply held at one point, but in its full circumference by the conical clamp. The milled tightening screw lies firm in the hand and is easily adjusted. The threaded conus and clamping mechanism are legally registered.

The BENDER end pin can be dismantled very easily: Align the holes in the inner nut and outer nut as well as possible, then insert a 4mm diameter rod, thus the nuts can be unscrewed as one.

The rod is 600mm long and 10mm in diameter and available in carbon fibre, aluminum, and titanium pipe. The conical socket has the same dimensions as standard cello reamers.
Tenons are available in 25, 26.5 and 28mm at the thickest end.
