Here is a vintage Victorian-style compo/gesso gold picture frame. It measures 13 1/2 x 15 3/4 ins. in total size and the insert rabbet fits a 10 x 12 ins.piece of art. The frame is in FAIR as is vintage condition with some corner edge chips to the compo/gesso, and some old gold re-paint over entire frame. The frame is still sturdy and solid. I would date this frame to the 1940s time period. This style of frame is perfect for old floral paintings ,samplers,and antique photographs.

Perfect for Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, Romantic, Shabby, and 1900s decors.
