These Brass are drilled out and can not be fired.    The Bullet projectile HAS BEEN MODIFIED  to turn it into a pen. It can not be fired as a real bullet.

The brass has been fired and may have minor scratches and dents due to the firing from the rifle. This only adds to the character of the pen.

To replace the ink, twist off the bottom of the bullet projectile and pull apart. Then unscrew the pen cartridge that is attached to the projectile. The pen cartridge is a standard cross refill. The refill can be purchased from any office supply store. 

THIS IS NOT sealed up for a one time use and DOES NOT have a bic pen refill.

This has a CROSS TYPE refill.
